With this time in isolation

Writer's Journal

I have been off all social media lately, only popping in a few times to briefly say something. My phone buzzes with fewer notifications now that I deleted many apps, even ones I thought I could not live without. My days feel more peaceful and my eyes turn to the space in which I live, seeing more what has meaning to me and what does not.

With the time I have been spending to myself, I have tended to years-neglected personal effects, coded a script, written entries in my diary, cleared out unneeded personal data, written poems, gone for walks and runs, written personal letters.

While the situation in the world is still worrisome and definitely devastating for many, I am trying to make the best of this time I have to myself and, if possible in my limited skill and scope, to make it as much of a personal renaissance as possible.
